A Funeral is a ceremony for celebrating, respecting, sanctifying, and remembering the life of a person who has sadly passed away. As a very experienced Funeral Celebrant, having officiated at over 300 funerals, I can help you with the writing of the Eulogy which can be delivered by a family member or a trusted friend.  We will need to meet so that we can discuss all aspects of the service.  I am open to your suggestions and will respect all your needs and beliefs.  I have a questionnaire covering all aspects of the deceased’s life and you are welcome to share as much or as little information as you wish with me. 

 

I shall create a unique service which honours the memory and celebrates the life of your much loved and much missed family member.  The draft can go forwards and backwards as often as it needs to until it is just right …
 

I have multiple resources to help you in other aspects of the funeral service as follows:

• Poems

• Prayers

• Rituals

 

I can help with the layout of the Order of Service booklets, with the final draft being sent to the Funeral Home for printing in readiness for the service.  I am happy to liaise with the funeral home on your behalf.   
 

For an extra fee, I can deliver the Eulogy on the family’s behalf, if you feel that you might be too emotional to do so on the day.
 

I can also be your officiant/celebrant; all you need to do is to advise the funeral home of this fact and ensure that they do not appoint one for you and charge you a separate celebrant’s fee.  My fee will be billed to you on a fully itemised Statement of Fees.  A celebrant appointed by a Funeral Home will cost an average of $400.00 to $500.00 (exclusive of GST) with NO WRITTEN EULOGY

My aim to ensure that everything is as seamless as possible, whilst saving you some money, during this particular traumatic time of your lives which can, let's face it, be quite an expensive expensive.

My fees are as follows:
 

Meeting and writing of the Eulogy - $250.00

Delivery of the Eulogy at the service - $50.00

Funeral Celebrancy service - $350.00 – which includes:

 

• Writing of the full service

• Writing and delivery of the Eulogy

• Advice on various aspects of the service

• Resources for poems/songs/prayers etc...

• Design of the Order of the Service booklets in readiness for the funeral home

• Liaising with the funeral home on your behalf

I also conduct Memorial Services, either at the graveside or another location of your choosing

Writing and officiating $350.00

Note:  These fees are only for services within the Townsville area - for out of town or Magnetic Island services/ceremonies, mileage/ferry fees etc.. will apply
